Friendly Hello | Celebrations | Positive Inkers Design Team Blog Hop

Happy New Year to all my crafty friends!  Welcome to our first Positive Inkers Blog hop of 2022 themed 'Celebrations'! I've made a birthday card using free products from Sale-a-bration! And further down in this post you'll find my Video Tutorial!

Here's my finished card.

The combo of the Friendly Hello stamp set & Friendly Hello DSP are a dream come true!  I chose this delightful pattern. It's a real stunner!

Using white embossing powder I heat embossed the flowers onto Basic Gray and the leaves & greeting onto Basic Black, and fussy cut each.

To offer a bit of separation between the DSP & flowers, I added a piece of Pool Party cardstock that I had embossed using my Stripes & Splatters 3D folders.

A heat embossed birthday sentiment and leaf make a lovely and simple inside greeting with lots of room to write a personal note!

As a finishing touch and a bit of whimsy, I unravelled a piece of White Frayed Ribbon, (new from the Mini Catalogue), tied it in a knot and adhered with a glue dot behind the flowers.
