Please support the Kids Help Phone. Today I had a runaway at my door asking to use my phone to call the Kids Help Phone. I dialed the number for her and sat with her while she was waiting in the queue. I talked to her asked a few questions. Unfortunately, after 20 minutes she was still waiting and was getting frustrated.. She hung up and thanked me, then left. I called the police to make a report. Turns out there is a missing girl matching her description. I wish she had been able to speak to someone at the Kids Help Phone. I wish a lot of things - wish I had known what to do, what to say to her. Please support the Kids Help Phone - kids want to talk!.
