Wishing You Well - Stampin' Up!

What a week! It's getting better, though.  My daughter fell down the stairs at work and long story-short, broke her tibia & fibula and required surgery.  Twelve screws & a metal plate later, thankfully she's on the mend.  I hope your week went well.

Let's get to the card! There are times when I simply can't decide on a design, and other times where a card comes together in a matter of minutes, which was the case with this card.
What a delight using the Wishing You Well stamp set! This is a 'Distinktive' set, meaning the stamps create different opacities in a single stamped image for realistic depth and intensity, that you will love!

To make this card, start with Grey Granite base, cut at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 & scored at 4 1/4 (all in inches)
Next, cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock for the layer - 3 1/2 x 5 1/2, and run it through your Big Shot in the Corrugated embossing folder. Then cut a Grey Granite layer - 2 5/8 x 4 3/8, and a
Whisper White layer -2 1/2 x 4 1/4.  Stamp the floral image from the Wishing You Well stamp set in Grey Granite, then the bow, mini flowers & sentiment, all in Merry Merlot.  Adhere the layers - I used Snail.

One might think of the corrugated look as being harsh for a delicate card, however, in Whisper White, it's perfect!

Notice how the bow looks to have depth - that's the Distinktive look!  I'm so pleased with the gorgeous font of this sentiment! Do you love it?!!

Soft, pretty and a simple card to make!
