Blended Background Technique

It's day 2 of my 5 Facebook Live videos this week!

Today's card features a wow technique called Blended Background.  In my previous post here you'll see this technique, however, I hadn't done a video showing you how I created this cool background....until today.

To start, you'll need a piece of Whisper White cardstock, and be sure to cut it larger than your normal layering size.  I used sponge daubers, but you could easily use Stamping Sponges.  The colours I chose are Mango Melody, Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo and Grapefruit Grove.

Be sure to watch the video to see the technique in action, and check out how the colours change - it's awesome!

Once you're happy with the blending, dip your fingers in water and flick the water onto the card layer.  It's soooo cool....!

Extreme close-up 😉  I love how each card will look so different - one of a kind, every time!

Here's another card I made using the Blended Background Technique.
This time I used Pacific Point, Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana inks.
Dies: In the Woods, Tropical
Sentiment: Friendly Expressions
