I love to create unique watercolour backgrounds for my cards - it's easy and you can do this as well! Hands down, the best paper to use is our Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper. I like to put drops of re-inker onto a big acrylic block then add a bit of water using my Aqua Painter. For this card I used Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana and Daffodil Delight. Once completely dry, I inked up the sentiment and foliage image from Forever Fern in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Next, I added a thin mat of Basic Black.
For a bit of sparkle, I flicked Wink of Stella onto the card. It's not visible in the pic, but the card sparkles. This ribbon is so soft and easy to tie into a bow. It's available the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack in the new Annual Catalogue, and you will love working with it! I adhered the bow using a Mini Glue Dot.
I tested a few different colours for the card base, and Whisper White was the winner! The patterned paper layer is from the Forever Greenery DSP and a must-have for your crafting! I looks pretty in the catalogue and gorgeous in person!! The entire Forever Greenery suite is ah-mazing!
