Window cards offer a wow to your designs, aren't hard to make, and are the theme for our monthly Stamping Symphony Blog Hop! I can't wait to see what everyone has created!
For my card, I'm featuring goodies from the Dandy Garden Project Collection which is in the new Jan-June Mini Catalogue!
My embossed layer is the size of the card front. All measurements are given during my video (which will be added after my Tues@8pm video)
I cut the window using one of my Layering Circles dies. Next, I placed the layer on the card, lined up all the edges and using a pencil, lightly traced the 'window' opening on the front of the card and cut using the same die.
Isn't the Ornate Floral 3D Folder perfect for this card! The little flowers are the perfect size for a balanced look with the dragonfly, which I heat embossed in gold and cut using the Dragonflies Punch.
For a True Friend is such a lovely sentiment in this set! It's stamped using Black Stazon Ink, cut using one of my Stitched Shapes Dies, and on a Bumblebee cardstock layer cut with a Layering Circles die.
For something a little different, I used coordinating papers from the Dandy Garden DSP.
I used a piece of Window Sheet between the layers and I simply love how you can see the DSP inside the card through the window! As a finishing touch, Gold Glitter Enamel Dots give a subtle bit of bling!
