Lolly & Sand: Blog Hop Merriest Moments from Stampin' Up!

Welcome back crafty friends! I'm super excited about our Stamping Symphony blog hop today as our theme is Christmas!!

Here's my first of two cards. Other than the base & layer colour, they are the same and I'd like to know which version you like best so please leave me a comment.

I am completely enamored with the Star-Crossed embossing folder. The designs are so light, they don't overpower the background. What a great year-round folder!

It's no secret that my favourite 2021-2023 In Colour is Evening Evergreen. The richness of the colour is so gorgeous and so stunning with Basic White & Real Red! I used the stamps & dies from the Merriest Moments bundle for the flower & most of the greenery - aren't they pretty!

Now to card #2. Well, the difference is black & white. 😊 What do you think? This was my original card, and then I had the idea to create it in Basic White.

I'm a huge fan of heat embossing! For both cards, I heat embossed greeting (from Merriest Moments) using silver powder. From there is was an easy fussy cut!

As in the first card, I added little white sprigs which were cut from the Forever Flourishing dies.

MY TIP: stamp & die cut more flowers and leaves than you think you'll need when you make this card. I'm glad I had lots of extra pieces as my daughter asked me to make this card for her workplace.
