Hello & welcome to my blog! I'm excited to be featuring the Flowers of Friendship stamp set today because it's such a pretty set and hasn't been inked up for a while!
Here's my finished card:
I love the fresh look of this card! The image stamps are crisp and lend themselves to different colouring tools. I've chosen Stampin' Blends in Poppy Parade and Night of Navy, which I love against the Basic White paper.
A reminder that all the measurements are given during the Video Tutorial below, and further down in this post are the product pics and links.
Flowers of Friendship #155358
This can also be purchased as a bundle with the Flowers & Leaves Punch #155590
Adding textures to your cards add dimension. My layer was embossed with the Checks & Dots folder. I've added a strips of Poppy Parade cardstock and from the Neutrals DSP, a piece of patterned Night of Navy.

To the clean & simple look of my card, I went easy on the gold accents. Under my stamped layer is Gold Metallic Specialty Paper. I stamped and gold embossed dots from Artistically Inked and then added a few more dots using a stylus. A little gold trim under the greeting and my card is done!
I find when making clean and simple cards 'less is more'. I would love to hear your thoughts on my card - please leave a comment.

Welcome Crafty Friends! The past several days have been a whirlwind of activity and a big Saturday as we held our first ever retreat which was fabulous! Since the event I've been bursting with creative ideas! To see all 3 projects, be sure to watch my Video Tutorial further down in this post! Each card features the Tidings & Trimmings Bundle and Blending Brushes!
Here's my finished card!
Flirty Flamingo for a Christmas card - why not :-) I used my Blending Brush to swirl the ink onto Basic White, cut out the stars (Christmas Trimmings dies), then added a bit more ink around the edges of the stars.
The stars are resting on a Tailor Made Tag, embossing using my Tasteful Textile folder, with a few sprigs from the Forever Flourishing dies.
The concensus at home was the card needed a little something - Wink of Stella to the rescue! I wish you could see how much sparkle is on this card!
I have such a love for clean & simple cards that I stopped myself at 3 for my Facebook live!
Do watch my tutorial below and let me know in the comments which card is your favourite!

Hello again my crafty friends and thank you for popping by! I love this time of year, and have been busy clearing out the fallen leaves and of course, making Christmas cards! Today I have a fun fold easel card & video tutorial for you!
Here's my finished card!
This is a bit of an odd angle for my card, but I wanted to show you the entire front of the card. You aren't seeing weird shadows in the top left and bottom right of my card - I used my Blending Brushes to add a bit of drama to the Whimsy & Wonder DSP. In the video tutorial below I decided to use Flirty Flamingo rather than Melon Mambo mostly to see how each colour shaded the area.
The brand new Eden dies from Stampin' Up! are so pretty, I just had to show you another way to use them! Rather than discard the inside piece of the cut silver foil paper, I simply placed it inside the die cut frame to create a gorgeous backdrop for the sentiment. This will make more sense when you watch the video tutorial below.
Speaking of the sentiment, it's from the Best Year set. I heat embossed it in silver, then cut it with one of my Ornate Frames dies.
You know how much I love the Simply Elegant Trim - yup - I've used it again. I can't get enough of the trim - love love love it!!
I'm a bit obsessed with the Wintery 3D folder - it's whimsical, and oh so pretty! Keeping with that theme, I used a sentiment from Whimsical Trees, which I heat embossed in silver. I love the delicate sentiment die from Pretty Pillowbox because it's absolutely perfect for this and so many other sentiments!
My final pic is to show you how the easel card looks from the side, and my 3 layers of Basic White hold up the front panel. Pretty cool, eh!
