A Beary Cute Bundle | New Mini Catalogue | Positive Inkers Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends!  It's a new month and that means our Positive Inkers Design Team have a new blog & Instagram hop for you!  We're featuring the brand new Stampin' Up! Mini Catalogue - super exciting!

I fell head over heels for the Beary Cute bundle!  I mean seriously...how cute are those polar bears!!

A B

I stamped the bears using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and for the scarf, Real Red.  , fussy cut two of them and used the punch to cut out the third.

Lately I've been obsessed with Blending Brushes, and I used them, along with Balmy Blue ink on the same colour cardstock to create a cool background for the bears.

How cute is this little family and their snowy background - which is DSP from the Beary Christmas paper!  I cut it using one of the Nested Essentials dies!

For even more snow, I heat embossed the snowflakes from the Beary Cute stamp set.  It's still summer here in Canada so now snow yet LOL....at least not in Southern Ontario! 😊

Last, but not least, I heat embossed the sentitment in white onto Balmy Blue cardstock.  I love how this simple card turned out!  This would be a great card to make multiples!  What do you think?

Masculine Card | He's the Man| Fun Fold | Reverse Panel Fold

Hello and welcome crafty friends!  On the 15th of each month our team does a blog hop and our theme is Masculine Cards.  My card today features products from the He's the Man Suite from Stampin' Up!  If you struggle with masculine cards, this suite is for you, and with my fun fold technique, you'll find making this card is a breeze!

I was inspired to make this card after seeing a YouTube video by Meg Loven, a U.S. demonstrator.  Naturally I changed up the card to make it my own.

You'll find all the details and measurements in my Video Tutorial further down in this post.

Whether you struggle with masculine cards or not, this paper is so awesome that you'll need it in your collection.  There are antique cars, camping gear, suits, ties and more!

All the products used to make my card are available through my online store.

A top view of my card.  Notice how the mini inside card opens from left to right - that's the reverse part of the card.  Pretty cool, eh!

I've used one of the pop out images from the DSP - no fussy cutting involved!  Stampin' Up! thinks of everything!

I've loved Stampin' Up! stamps for many years, and in looking at this perfectly stamped image bring me such joy!  It's all about the details!  And what a great sentiment - useful for a variety of occasions.

Sneak Peek Flowering Tulips Bundle from Stampin' Up! and Blog Hop!

Weeee!  I love giving your sneak peeks and with the new Mini Catalogue coming out soon, this little peek might have you falling in love with the Flowering Tulips bundle!  AND, it's our team blog hop! The theme is Thank You.....which you'll note I didn't use (oops!), but my card can very easily be made into a thank you card!  Oooooh...and our upcoming Stamp Camp is open for registration!  Details further below!

In my Video Tutorial below you'll find all the measurements, see a second card we made and of course, a sneak peek of the goodies in the bundle!

My mom loved polka dots and I know she would have loved this card!  It's bright and happy!

I think this might be the first time I've used the Timeworn Type embossing folder, and you know I love embossing folders!!  The texture it brings to my card is simply amazing!

Let's get to the Sneak Peek!  I cut the tulips in Poppy Parade with my brand new Tulips dies. I love the dainty and delicate look!  Back to the polka dot paper - it's from the Flowering Fields DSP and is just one of many gorgeous designs!

Here's a close up of the detail in the die and the patterned paper!
Aren't they gorgeous!

Flowers of Friendship & Free Shipping December 8!

Hello & welcome to my blog!  I'm excited to be featuring the Flowers of Friendship stamp set today because it's such a pretty set and hasn't been inked up for a while!

Here's my finished card:

I love the fresh look of this card!  The image stamps are crisp and lend themselves to different colouring tools.  I've chosen Stampin' Blends in Poppy Parade and Night of Navy, which I love against the Basic White paper.

A reminder that all the measurements are given during the Video Tutorial below, and further down in this post are the product pics and links.

Flowers of Friendship #155358
This can also be purchased as a bundle with the Flowers & Leaves Punch #155590

Adding textures to your cards add dimension.  My layer was embossed with the Checks & Dots folder.  I've added a strips of Poppy Parade cardstock and from the Neutrals DSP, a piece of patterned Night of Navy.

To the clean & simple look of my card, I went easy on the gold accents.  Under my stamped layer is Gold Metallic Specialty Paper.  I stamped and gold embossed dots from Artistically Inked and then added a few more dots using a stylus.  A little gold trim under the greeting and my card is done!

I find when making clean and simple cards 'less is more'.   I would love to hear your thoughts on my card - please leave a comment.
