I started by heat embossing the flower/cake image with white embossing powder onto watercolour paper from Stampin' Up!
Here's the stamp set. The images stamp beautifully and the fonts are gorgeous!
I used my Aqua Painters, first with Basic Gray ink for the leaves, then Melon Mambo for the flowers. Watercolouring is relaxing and quite easy. View my previous post for a watercolour demo.
Once dry, I die cut the flowers using the Birthday dies. The white leaves on the tag were also cut using the same dies!
I used the Bonanza Dies to die cut Melon Mambo & Whisper White cardstock.
Next, I embossed the Melon Mambo tag with the Scripty 3D embossing folder. It's so elegant, and perfect for so many happy occasions!
I used Glue Dots to adhere the leaves to the back of the flowers, then added dimensions to pop up the flowers.
Next I heat embossed the sentiment onto Melon Mambo cardstock using white embossing powder, then fussy cut. You know I love dimensionals, so yuppers, I popped up the sentiment.
I added a bow using Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon then still felt something was missing, soooooo, I cut my Whisper White Flax Ribbon length-wise to get two strands then attached the Melon Mambo & Whisper White tags.
