Sneak Peek | Love for You Bundle | Friend Card

Welcome lovely stamping friends to my 3rd Sneak Peek from the upcoming Jan-April Mini Catalogue!  Thank you for stopping by my blog today!

We've just had white-out blizzards and lots of snow, so to lift spirits I've created a colourful card using the Love For You Bundle from Stampin' Up!  This card makes me so happy!

Suprise!  Another Sneak Peek! If you don't recognize the Designer Series Paper (DSP) I used - that's because it's new, and free from Sale-a-bration with a purchase of $120.  This is the Dandy Designs DSP and the designs are dandy, and versatile for many occasions!

I love decorating the inside of cards - a lovely surprise for the recipient!

New How-To Video Tutorial | Flowering Tulips

Happy Tuesday everyone!  I'm delighted to be back after a relaxing Christmas and hope you had a wonderful holiday! 

I have a new card & video tutorial featuring the Flowering Tulips bundle from Stampin' Up!  So how do those tulip dies work?  Further down in this post you'll find my tutorial.

Here's my card!

I've used a handful of amazing new products from the upcoming Mini Catalogue!  Let's start with the tulips!  Have you seen the absolutely stunning New Horizons DSP (designer series paper) in the Mini? I used the paper for a fabulous one-of-a-kind artsy, watercolour look for my tulips!

Here's a close-up of the tulips....and 2 new goodies!  Under the tulips is a piece of Basic White paper embossed using the Splatters folder from Stripes & Splatters. And to the right of the tulips, I've used one of my Detailed Dahlias Dies to cut the Basic White paper.  I cut the paper in half to use on another card.

Before adding my sentiment, I flicked Wink of Stella onto the card for a lovely shimmer!  I used Rich Razzleberry cardstock as my backing layer and sentiment.  And there you have it - a card perfect for many many occasions!  Leave me a comment with your thoughts on this card!

Dragonfly Garden Bundle Sneak Peek International Blog Highlights December Thank You Card

Ooooh.....you are going to l-o-v-e the new Jan-June Mini Catalogue!  It's packed full of gorgeous stamps, fab dies, lots of stunning designer series paper! 

Today,  I have a sneak peek for you of goodies from the Dandy Garden Project Collection, and I've entered my card in Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights.

The theme for December is Thank You.

This pretty card is quick & easy to make, with just 2 colours of ink, the Dragonfly Garden Bundle (stamp set & punch).

I started by inking up the mini dragonflies in Bumblebee onto Whisper White cardstock, then embossing with the Tasteful Textile 3D folder.   The full sentiment read Thank You For Your Kindness, however I wanted Thank You.....so.....I used  my Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker over the words, and it worked beautifully!

 

I stamped the delicate floral image onto one of the designs from the Dandy Garden using Jet Black Stazon Ink, then adding a layer of Brushed Metallic Cardstock for a bit of shine.

The dragonfly was stamped onto Vellum, using the same ink as above.

Sneak Peek Parisian Blossoms Suite & Bonus Cards!

Today's card features a sneak peek of the Stampin' Up! Parisian Blossom Suite.  The specialty designer series paper is exquisite with florals & touches of champagne foil in some designs.  Be sure to take a look at my paper share below to find out how you can order a share.

This card came together quickly, first with stamping the background in Crumb Cake.

The flourishes and Eiffel Tower were cut using the Parisian Dies, and flowers were easily fussy cut from the DSP.  

The sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock, then cut using one of the Ornate Frames Dies.

Here's my video with all the measurements for the above card, plus a similar card as above, but without using dies!  I also have bonus cards for you in the video!

Under My Umbrella - New Mini & Sale-A-Bration Sneak Peek

I am loving the new Under My Umbrella Bundle!  The images from the stamp set are super cute as are the sentiments!  This is just one of the many gorgeous products from the new Mini Catalogue coming out on January 3rd!

Wondering about that purple polka dot paper?  It's from the new Peaceful Poppies DSP that you can purchase it on January 3rd!  Every sheet in that DSP pack is stunning so if you want it, order it early! My thought is that it's going to sell out fast!

I did a light colour-wash in Pool Party on the Whisper White layer before adding the Bermuda Bay raindrops.  The boots & flowers are an easy fussy-cut.  Aren't they cute!!

Want to add a bit of texture & depth to your cards?  Embossing is key!  The Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder adds that little somethin'-somethin' this card needed! 

Those little meerkats are soooooooooo adorable - I had to include this little guy in my card!

He's stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and coloured with both light & dark Crumb Cake Blends.  The Gang's All Meer is from Sale-a-bration &  you can get this set FREE with your qualifying order!  

Peaceful Poppies DSP makes a lovely spring-like umbrella - so pretty!

I made little loops using the Daffodil Delight 1/4" Ruched Ribbon from the Birthday Bonanza Suite. I I l-o-v-e that ribbon and that it matches perfectly with the flower I coloured using my Daffodil Delight blend.  The addition of a Red Rhinestone Basic Jewel is all the bling this sweet card needs.
