I had 2 leaves left over from a card I had made, and I simply couldn't let them go to waste! You know what that's like, right?! The Love of Leaves Bundle is an absolute must-have for your crafting! Five different styles of leaves, plus dies, and awesome sentitments - you can't go wrong!
The Whisper White leaves were coloured using Pool Party, Garden Green and a bit of Pretty Peacock on the edges. For the 2nd leaf I used Mango Melody, Melon Mambo, and for the edges, Cherry Cobbler. To apply the ink, I used my Sponge Daubers.
A reminder that when you're applying the ink to leave some white space. The areas of light and dark give a nice sense of depth.
My cardbase is Crumb Cake as is the first layer, which I cut using one of my Stitched Rectangle Dies. The next layer is a Copper Brushed Metallic Cardstock, cut with a die from Stitched So Sweetly. I cut a rectangle of Vellum to diffuse the shine from the metallic cardstock. Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, I adhered the pinkish leaf, and with Dimensionals, popped up the green leaf and the entire group of layers. Then I took a piece of Mint Macaron ribbon from the Basketweave & Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack, folded the ends under the layer, adhering them using Glue Dots. I stamped the sentiment from Beautiful Autumn in Early Espresso, then fussy cut it. Lastly, I added a few Elegant Faceted Gems.
