Slimline Card Stampin' Up! Enjoy the Stillness of the Season

Hello and welcome to my blog! I have a pretty slimline card for you today using the Curvy Dies and Plaid Tidings DSP (on sale at my online store until Oct 31).

What I love about slimline cards is that they are a unique size, they fit in a standard letter envelope, and don't require extra postage. And, just like other cards, these can be made into fun folds! I've provided the measurements and other card details in the video further down in this post.

Stampin' Up! A Merry Moose Birthday & Blog Hop

Welcome my crafty friends! We were given an interesting challenge for our monthly Stamping Symphony blog hop - use a Christmas stamp to create a non-Christmas card. Game on!

I always give credit if I've found inspiration in a card made by a demo, and for this card, it came from Terri Hartley, a demonstrator in the US. Naturally, I changed it up to make it my own and am super excited to share this card with you!

It's been a long time since I used our Shimmery White paper - was it hiding?? The shimmer adds a lovely hint of bling - not too much, not too little. I randomly stamped the moose using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. then stamped the moose onto Plaid Tidings DSP & cut it using the Moose Punch. Those dots are from a stamp in the same set, and I used Real Red ink. You'll save 10% by purchasing the Merry Moose Bundle! Yay - love saving $$

'Happy', in Real Red cardstock was cut using one of my Well Written dies. For intricate dies, you'll absolutely want to use our Adhesive Sheets.

Wanting a small 'birthday' for this card, I turned to the Blossoms in Bloom set. It's heat embossed in White onto Basic Black cardstock.

The layers are Real Red cardstock, followed by one of the designs from Magic is the Night DSP, and the base is Basic Black. I'm so happy with this card! Do you like it? Please feel free to leave a comment.

Stampin' Up! Merry Moose & more Christmas Gift Tags & Basement Reno Update!

I made it myself! Who doesn't love saying that??!! I sure do, which is why my recent Facebook Live video featured Christmas Gift Tags! It's easy to be inspired with the Merry Moose Bundle!

How cute are these!! I used my Stitched Nested Label Dies & the Merry Moose bundle, plus the plaid stamp from Tiny Keepsakes. I'm lovin' the sentiment die - it's from the Ornate Frames dies and the current Holiday Catalogue.

You can't go wrong with this set! The moose & trees are year round stamps!

Our Amazing New Paper Trimmer!

I've been using this new trimmer for several weeks, and I'm delighted to say, with all the cutting and prep work for cards, classes & events, the blade is still sharp! Pinch me, I think I'm in heaven!!

Basement Renovation

Oct 29/19 - Day 1 - My entire basement, including laundry & bathroom are gutted. So much dust, so much noise, but it's going to be so worth it! It's going to be beautiful!!
Starting in January, I'll be able to hold my classes & workshops in my home!
