Happy Friday! We're mid-way thru July and that means it blog hop time! I'm excited to see what everyone created for our Sale-a-bration theme! And I'm happy to share my card with you!
Have you seen the Rings of Love paper in the Sale-a-bration brochure from Stampin' Up? It's so beautiful! I'm featuring two different patterns from the paper on my card. Aren't the birds gorgeous!!
I have to admit - I'm lovin' this colour combo! How about you?
There's a lot going on in this pic! I used the Layering Circles dies for the 'bird paper', and the Night of Navy scalloped layer. Then you have double banners, both cut in Soft Sea Foam using the Stylish Shapes dies. And lastly, a Soft Suede layer embossed using the 'splatter' folder from Stripes & Splatters. You can see how I cut the pieces in my Video Tutorial further down in this post.
Sometimes those last minute details are the best! Using my Stylish Shapes dies, I cut the birds from the Rings of Love paper - crazy cute!
The inside greeting as well as the happy birthday greeting are both from Happiness Abounds and inked using Night of Navy.

Hello Crafty Friends and happy Tuesday! Today I'm sharing a messy blending technique that is easy and effective as a background!
Why messy blending? Because it lets you be creative and being messy is fun! It also takes away some of the blending 'rules'. So come with me my rebel friends and let's get messy!
For this card I've used Starry Sky - a new In Colours from Stampin' Up! In my Video Tutorial further down in this post, I used 2 colours! All meaurements and card details are given during my video.
BLENDING BRUSHES #153611
Prior to Stampin' Up! offering Blending Brushes, I had purchased some brushes from Amazon, and truthfully, they were okay, but the Stampin' Up! brushes are far superior! I wouldn't say that unless I stood behind the product 100%!

Click on the image below to view my YouTube video! I enjoyed making the video and telling you all about my mistakes I made on my first few attempts. It's an easy technique, but I messed up....find out how....
The images from Nature's prints heat emboss so easily! I used white embossing powder, which against the blue of the Starry Sky ink pops!
I never get tired of this blending technique! You get an amazing background that's one of a kind and it is such a huge WOW factor! I hope you'll give it a try!

Hello lovely crafters! Today is our team blog! We've chosen the theme 'New Catalogue' which leaves the door wide open for the unexpected because there are so many fabulous stamps, dies, papers, punches and more to choose! I can't wait to see what everyone has created!
Here's my card! I'm lovin' the pop of colour!
I'm lovin' the pop of colour! One of my fave things to do is use a gorgeous stamp, and this one is from Happiness Abounds, stamp black ink on white paper in clean and simple way, then add a bright colour!
Be sure to view my step by step video tutorial which is a bit further down in this post for all the measurements and additional card details!
This wonderful greeting, along with an entire stamp set was design by US demonstrator Lisa Curcio, and comes with dies that cut close, as if fussy cut - but way better LOL. Seriously though, both the stamp set & coordinating dies are absolutely amazing and a must-have!
