Saying Goodbye to Lovely as a Tree from Stampin' Up! Blog Hop

I can't believe it's almost time to say goodbye. Lovely as a Tree has been a Stampin' Up! staple for over 15 years and if you love it, but don't have it, order this set before it's gone forever!

One thing I love about being a demonstrator is that we CASE - copy & share everything.  Having said that, my card today is a CASE of a home decor piece made by fellow demo Tammy Wilson.

To make this card, I started by heat embossing one of the tree images from Lovely as a Tree in clear embossing powder onto watercolour paper.  Next, using my Aqua painter I got the entire surface of the paper wet, then separately, added Blushing Bride, Melon Mambo and Calypso Coral.

Once dry, I used my Aqua painter to drip water here and there on the paper.  When you make this card,  try to keep the drips of water small.

To get the flecks of colour, I used my Basic Black Stampin' Blend, and flicked the end of the paint end with the cap of the blend.

As a finishing touch, and to hide a couple of 'oopsies', I use a few Adhesive Backed Sequins.
I left this as an all occasion card.  When I'm ready to use it, I'll add a sentiment to the inside.

If you live in Canada, you can order Lovely as a Tree, item 127793 right here and use the May Host code A6YC4AHP at checkout.

Thank you for stopping by!  Be sure to hop over to the next blogs!
