I cut a few flowers using my Tulip Builder punch and had planned to make this card during my Friday video. However when my daughter called asking if I could be with her at the hospital to help with her 3 month old after his surgery, of course I said yes. Colour Combo for the Blended Ink Technique
The 3 on the left were blended, the 3 on the right were blended.
What makes this technique so interesting is how the flicks of water land on the paper and leave such wonderful and unique designs!
My card base & layer are both Blackberry Bliss, with the layer cut using one of my Stitched Rectangle dies as is the In Good Taste DSP. The tulips on the outside were adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, and I popped up the middle tulip with Dimensionals. I had a scrap of the DSP and thought it would make a really cute 'window box'! Then I saw my Square Vellum Doilies, cut about a third of the doily and voila, a nice little window dressing!
I heat embossed the sentiment, from Tasteful Touches onto Vellum using Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder, then fussy cut it.
