Hello again wonderful crafty friends and happy October! On the first of each month is the blog hop for our Positive Inkers Global Design Team and this time we have a colour challenge! It's always exciting to see the amazing cards from the team!
Here's my card!
I love love love the greenery die from the Artistically Inked Bundle! It's great for cards year-round and has limitless creative possibilities!
Did you notice the heat embossing on the Basic White layer? I used one of the floral images from Artistically Inked and white embossing powder. It's subtle yet shiny and makes a lovely background!
I chose these colours for our challenge for a few reasons - they're gorgeous together and they coordinate with the Tidings of Christmas DSP (designer series paper), which I've used on my card!
On a half sheet of Basic White, I used my Blending Brushes along with Cherry Cobbler and Evening Evergreen inks. To avoid a murky mix of colours, I did my best to get the colours close together without overlapping them. I then used Pear Pizzazz to go over any light bits where the first two colours weren't touching.
Next, I adhered an adhesive sheet to the back of the paper, and cut the greenery using a die from the bundle (see below).
