Double Criss-Cross Fun-Fold Birthday Card

Welcome to my blog today!  My card today is a Double Pocket Criss-cross fun fold inspired by Really Robin Stamps!  I love the 2 pockets, bright colours and how quickly my card came together! My Video Tutorial further down in this post contains all the measurements and details for my card.

REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

You won't want to miss this amazing event! We'll be using the gorgeous products from the Hues of Happiness Suite from the upcoming Annual Catalogue!

EARLY BIRD REGISITRATION: register by April 24 to get an extra ballot for our door prize draws!

Now to my card...

Truth - I showed the card to my daughter who said, and I quote, "There's too much going on with that card, I can't even look at it!"  😁  There is a lot going on, but I think it's awesome! Inspiration for my card is from Really Robin Stamps!

Bright colours make me so happy!  I love The Pattern Party paper I used - it's a Stampin' Up! retiring host product that can be earned with a qualifying order.

PATTERN PARTY DESIGNER SERIES PAPER

Polka dots, flowers, stripes, and more. Whatever type of pattern you need, you'll find it in the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper. Printed paper is excellent scrapbook paper, card making paper, and more. Use these pattern staples in any season, for any occasion!

In the above picture you can see the mini card from the 2nd pocket.  I love the 'cloud' die from Basic Border dies - what an awesome look!  I stamped a scrap in Mango Melody onto Basic White and cut it using one of the floral images from the Floral Gallery dies.

In the above pic you can see the mini card in the 1st pocket.  Poppy Parade cardstock is a real favourite of mine, and it looks amazing with the sentiment from Best Year heat embossed in black!

To complete my card I cut a scalloped circle in Mango Melody and Basic White circle both from the Layering Circle dies.  I've used those dies on countless cards and many more to come!

Stampin' Up! Simple 'Hello' Card Sale-a-bration Free Paper Blooms DSP

Hi my crafty friends!  I found myself wanting to make a super simple card, and that brought me back to my fave paper in the Sale-a-bration flyer - Paper Blooms DSP <---psssst...its FREE with a $60 product order!

Here's my card.

It's cold & snowy in January, and let's face it - we need a bit of brightness and happy, so I used my So Saffron Stampin' Blends to add a few pops of colour!

A simple 'hello' goes a long way when wanting to stay connected with friends!
The DSP I used is currently only available for those who purchase the Starter Kit by Feb 28, 2021.

Thank You - Kylie's International Blog Highlights

Welcome to my blog!  Today I'm sharing a card for Kylie's International Highlights.  The theme for November is thank you.  I hope you find inspiration from all the cards in the highlights!  If you like my card, please vote for it using the Vote button further down in this post.  In the gallery, my card is #4.

Even with all the different elements, my card came together very quickly.  When I love a product, I always cut extras knowing that I'll use them.  So for this card, I had on hand the Stitched Leaves die cuts and the parts for the daisy.

For the inked background I applied Melon Mambo & Mango Melody using sponge daubers, then flicked a bit of water onto the paper.  Next, I die cut using my Curvy Dies (available November 3rd) and love how it gives the card movement.

Only the Top 10 make it into the International Blog Hop.

If you like my card, please vote for it.  It's card #4.

I heat embossed the sentiment, from Best Year, then did a quick fussy cut.   For 'thanks', here's a tip - use our Adhesive Sheets rather than glue....it's SO much easier!!

Thank you for stopping by!  If you wish to order any of the products, you can shop 24/7 online with me, or contact me, and I'll place your order for you.
