Sending Healing Hugs

Have you tried stamping on DSP? You'll want to when you see my card today!

I find with large stamps, using my Stamparatus really helps me get good even stamping! Using Early Espresso, I inked up the Breathtaking Bouquet stamp, which I stamped on the Pressed Petals Specialty DSP, then added a layer of Early Espresso cardstock. The card base is Bermuda Bay.

Check out the gorgeous textured look of the paper! Such a rich background and the detail on the Breathtaking Bouquet stamp is exquisite!

I cut a 1" strip of the Flowering Foils DSP and coloured the background using my Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blend. Trust me - it was so easy to colour....I may have coloured most of the paper!!

For the sentiment, I used the So Sentimental Bundle (you save 10% when you purchase bundles!) That's Early Espresso stamped onto Bermuda Bay cardstock. I am lovin' the colour combo!

Notice the cute little poppy & leaves? They're from the Peaceful Poppies Elements! I used an Aqua Painter and Bermuda Bay re-inker to colour the poppy. A little linen thread and the card is complete! What do you think - love, like, gotta have?! If you live in Canada, you can shop with me HERE

So Sentimental, Breathtaking Bouquet and 2nd Release Sale-A-Bration!

Hey my friends - I'm super excited about the Sale-A-Bration 2nd Release products that are available as of today!!! They are going to fly off the shelves, so hurry before they are gone!

In my Facebook video today, we made 2 cards that are bound to light up your day! Be sure to watch the video for close up views of 2 of the new items!!

My first card features the gorgeous background stamp Breathtaking Bouquet. I heat embossed the image in Gold Embossing Powder, then die cut using the 2nd largest Stitched Rectangle die.

Can you can stunning!! Check out the detail in the image!

I also heat embossed part of the image in the inside layer.

The base of the card is Soft Seafoam cut at 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2.

Next is the So Saffron layer - 3 3/4 x 5

I also Gold heat embossed the sentiment, from So Sentimental, then die cut it using one of the Stitched So Sweetly dies.

In the video I couldn't get the ribbon placement perfected, so right after the video I had an ah-ha moment, and there you go! The Reversable Ribbon is from the Annual Catalogue and is sooooo pretty!

Here's the Sale-A-Bration 2nd Release Card!

Hello Beautiful!

Once again I used Soft Sea Foam for the base - this time cut at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4/

The layer is one of the brand new Sale-A-Bration items - called So Very Vellum and it's gorgeous!!

I used the Soft Sea Foam vellum to create a subtle background.

Sale-A-Bration item 2 on this card is Flowering Foils. Trust me when I say you NEED this paper!

Leave it plain or colour it as I did, using sponge daubers. I used Pear Pizzazz, Flirtly Flamingo & Daffodil Delight. Super quick & easy to colour!!

Again, after the video I made a change. You know when something just doesn't seem right - well there is a solution! My original sentiment layer was on Whisper White paper, but oh my goodness, it looks sooooooo much better on Soft Sea Foam cardstock!!
