Super Easy & Super Fun Treat Holders!

Can you believe it?  Just 10 days until Christmas!  Are you ready?  I have a few more small gifts to pick up, and then let the festivities and food begin!

Thank you for joining us on our monthly Stamping Symphony Blog Hop!  We're featuring Winter & New Year's!  Here we go!

Surprise!  I didn't make a card - I made a New Year's treat holder CASE'd from UK demo Linda Parker!!  They are super cute, and best of all, they are soooo easy to make!

The first thing you'll want to do is raid your scrap stash for any paper that's 4 1/2 x 4 1/2.  I used Festive Farmhouse & Under the Mistletop DSP for my treat holders.  Having gone back to check out Linda Parker's video, I found the size she used was 4 1/2 x 5 1/2.  Either will work 😍

You'll want to use a strong adhesive like Tear & Tape.  Run the tape down one edge of your paper.  If you go with 4 1/2 x 5 1/2, run it down the 5 1/2 edge then attach it to the opposite edge (picture a paper towel roll).

Get out your Envelope Punch board because it does more than make envelopes!
Next, with the seam of the roll facing up, flatten each end approximately one inch from each end, and now it will fit into the Envelope Punch board.  Punch at the 1 inch mark as in the picture below, then do the same for each end.

Almost done!  I used one of my favourite sentiments.  It's from Merry Christmas to All.
Once stamped (in Cherry Cobbler), I used Layering Ovals to die cut the sentiment layer & the Silver Foil layer.

Using the twine I had at home, I tied one end with a cute little bow, put a treat inside, then tied the other end.

What kind of treat?  Well....had I made the slightly bigger size a slightly bigger treat would have fit....however these lovelies had to 'do'... Yum!  And yes, I tasted them!

So there you have it...and let me ask...how easy was that??!!  Very!
I have several more to make as table favours for New Year's Eve.

I hope you give these a try!  How sweet would these be for Valentine's, Easter, birthdays, etc!

All is Bright (Merry Christmas to All) Stampin' Up!

I'm back, and finishing up today with my product of the week - All Is Bright Suite (Merry Christmas to All) from the Holiday Catalogue!

Start with the base of the card. Garden Green cut at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 & scored at 4 1/4 (all in inches)
Gold Foil Sheet cut at 5 1/4 x 4 1/8
Dashing Along DSP 5 x 4

By the way, the gorgeous Dashing Along DSP is available only until September 30th.  Book a private workshop with me and earn the Dashing Along DSP when your sales reach $300.
Hurry though....September is quickly coming to a close.

I am soooo in love with the Foliage Frame Framelits! Doesn't the die cut looks lovely in Whisper White!
Any time I can get a discount, I go for it, and with the Merry Christmas to All bundle, I saved 10%.  Psst....so can you!
To cut out & adhere the Gold Foil Christmas greeting, I roughly measured the die, and cut the Gold Foil & Multipurpose Adhesive sheet to fit.  Next, I ran it through my Big Shot, peeled off the backing & adhered it to the Whisper White piece.
In this die set there are two word windows - for 'Merry' I used the smaller of the two.

This might just be one of the prettiest sentiments I've seen!  I stamped it in Garden Green.

A little Dashing Along DSP on the envelope flap makes a lovely finishing touch!

All Is Bright Suite (Merry Christmas to All) - Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome!
I'm absolutely delighted to announce I've promoted for the second time this year and am now Silver Elite. To my friends & family, stamping community - I am so grateful and appreciative for all your support!
I'm not only attending the Stampin' Up! OnStage conference....I now get to go to Centre Stage & Epcot!
Thank you all so much!

Today I'm making a Holiday Card with my product of the week - All Is Bright Suite (Merry Christmas to All) from the Holiday Catalogue!  Check out my video above & please share. 😊

Here's the card I made in the video!  Lots of little details, but quick & easy to make!

I started with the base of the card in Real Red cut at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 & scored at 4 1/4 (all in inches), then added an Old Olive layer cut at 5 1/4 x 4 1/8.  Isn't the printed paper pretty!! It's the Under the Mistletoe DSP  & is cut at 5 x 4.  I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the layer.
Next, using Real Red ink, I stamped 'Holiday' from Merry Christmas to All, onto Whisper White, then punched the one end with my Triple Banner Punch - one of my absolute-must-have punches!

I cut a piece of the Chicken Wire Elements in half to use get extra texture onto the card.  It's silver on the reverse side.  What's really awesome with the new product, is that you can use your inks to colour the white side to suit your cards & projects!

Using one of my Layering Ovals Dies I cut Old Olive cardstock, then ran it through the Big Shot in the Curls & Swirls embossing folder.
If you haven't used Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets - you need them!  As you saw in my video, it's super easy to use, and makes adhering, for example, words a snap!  I used Real Red for 'Happy', and die cut it with the Merry Christmas Thinlits Dies, which I bought as a bundle with the Merry Christmas to All stamp set to save 10%.

Naturally you'll want to add some additional features to your card!  I used a variety of dies and papers.  I may or may not be addicted to vellum!! 😏
The sweet little tree on the sentiment layer is from the Festive Farmhouse Elements in the Holiday catalogue.  I pressed the little tree into my Old Olive ink pad, and once dry, attached it using a glue dot.

I went with a simple inside for the card, leaving lots of room for to write a personal message.
The sentiment & greenery are just 2 of the 28 stamps from Merry Christmas to All.
