Back on Your Feet with Stampin' Blends

Hello Crafty Friends! It's Tuesday once again, and that means another blog post & video tutorial!  I finally got around to inking up the seriously cute Back on Your Feet set and playing with my Stampin' Blends!

I can finally share our amazing Handmade Holidays Virtual Retreat with you. All the details are HERE  This is an event you won't want to miss!

I love the richness of Cinnamon Cider cardstock, and embossed with the Stitched Greenery die - what a knock-out!  Measurements and card details are below in my YouTube video, PLUS this card in a knock-out bold colour, and a cutie-pie second card!!

I think you'll agree this is a super cute set to have on hand!  Cards made using these images are sure to get a smile from the recipient!  Links to shop are at the bottom of this post.

Here's a close-up!  Stampin' Blends are very easy to use!  Is my colouring perfect?  Nope!  And it doesn't have to be!  Leave a couple of white spaces here and there - we're aiming for handmade cuteness not perfection!

VIDEO TUTORIAL

Why it took me sooooo long to ink up this adorable set is a mystery, but I'm so happy I did because this card is uber cute!!

* Very Vanilla 3/8" (1 cm) Scalloped Lace Trim

This bright and happy bird was coloured with my Light Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend.  Once coloured, I die cut the image with one of the Stitched Nested Labels Dies, then popped up the main piece using dimensionals.
TIP: When using Stampin' Blends, stamp your images using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

How pretty are these little flowers!!! They add a pop of colour with Light Lovely Lipstick Stampin' Blends!!   I added some sparkle to the flowers with Wink of Stella and then did a quick fussy cut.
Like a mini bouquet, I grouped the flowers together and adhered them to the card with glue dots.

Quick & easy!

Thank you so much for stopping by!  Happy Crafting!

With Gratitude First Frost - Kylie's International Blog Hop Top Ten

Welcome to Kylie Bertucci’s International Highlights for December 2018. The theme this month is “Thankfulness and Gratitude.” Imagine my surprise when I took a look at the results of the votes and saw my card was #1.  Total surprise! I am so thankful and humbled. Thank you a hundred times over for your wonderful votes!

When I saw the theme for December was Thankfulness & Gratitude, I had in mind a simple card of white on white.  Here's my card.

I hope you agree that sometimes less is more.
A little die cutting and embossing, stamping and you've got yourself a pretty card that would lend itself to other occasions simply by changing the sentiment.

Have you seen the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set?  It's such a versatile set, making it a must-have in your craft stash!  I love the fonts Stampin' Up! used!

The combination of Merry Merlot & Mossy Meadow are a dream come true and perfect for the flowers & greenery in the First Frost Bundle.  Sadly, this is a retiring bundle, as is the Corrugated Embossing Folder, however, you have until January 2nd to order before they're gone forever!

For the inside of the card I inked up one of the flowers, again with Merry Merlot, and stamped the image 3 times without re-inking to achieve the dark to light look of the flowers.

The finished card.  I'm loving the simplicity.
Please feel free to leave me a comment.
