Christmas Gift Tags

Anyone else enjoying our little bit of winter?  I am.  And I even shoveled the snow!  I'm certain that 'novelty' will wear off quickly. 😆

Yup....it wore off. LOL!  Today, I have a few simple, yet elegant gift tags to show you.

I first cut Whisper White Note Cards in half, then used my Cable Knit TIEF to emboss the fronts of each.  With that bit of embossing, these gift tags were gorgeous, but I wanted to step them up a bit.

How cute is this?!  I used Christmas Stockings Thinlits to die cut Whisper White & Cherry Cobbler card stock.

A big big fave of mine -  the Card Front Builder Thinlit Dies. For the trees,
I used Night of Navy card stock and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.

Do you love this font as much as me?!  It's from Watercolour Christmas.
I couldn't resist adding a bit of  Be Merry DSP for a splash of colour and a sprig of greenery for whimsy!

Did you notice the rounded corners on the tags?
I used my Envelope Punch Board! Cool, eh!

Thanks for stopping by!  Happy Crafting!

Watercolour Christmas - Stampin` Up!

Wow, it`s been over a month since my last post, however, I`m back to everything card related! 😊

On Wednesday, I hosted a workshop with 10 wonderful ladies. To date, that was my biggest class.  Some experienced card makers, others brand new to stamping, and everyone had a great time making 4 Christmas cards!

When working with a large group, and limited time, it was necessary to die cut more than I would with a small group.  Oh, and to be super organized!  While one group was stamping, the other group was embossing - still some wait time, but things flowed pretty well.

This is a great card for beginners. The base is Real Red cardstock, with a layer of Whisper White, embossed using the Cable Knit Dynamic folder.

I`m a such a big fan of the Foil Snowflakes! Just enough glitz and glam without being overbearing.  The sentiment, from Watercolour Christmas, was stamped in Garden Green, then die cut with a Stitched Shapes Framelit.  Let me know if your lovin`this simple colour combo.

I used a Layering Oval Framelit to die cut the Garden Green backing for the sentiment, and glued the pieces together, and popped them up with dimensionals.

How cute is the Stitched Felt Embellishment!!!  I added a wee silver bow for a bit more bling!
Check out the Stitched Felt Embellishments in the Holiday Catalogue - there are 3 designs - the tree, a star, and holly berries with leaves (5 of each).

We finished off the card with a sentiment from Christmas Pines.

It had been a while since my last class and I learned something on Wednesday.  I really really really enjoy hosting workshops and classes.  How better to share what I love doing!

Thank you for stopping by!  Happy Crafting!
