Christmas Pines Eclipse Card

I'm a gal who keeps her promises, thus today I have another eclipse card.  This is the first card of this type that I made.  Super duper easy!!
I 'cased' this card from another demonstrator (sorry, I can't recall their name), then changed it to be easy to make for a new stamper. The greenery is stamped in Garden Green pine cones in Crumb Cake & Early Espresso and are from the Christmas Pines set.  What I like about this card it that it's understated.  Simple and uncluttered.

Just showing off the side view of the card.  Pretty, eh!

This lovely sentiment is from Peace This Christmas.  Almost looks handwritten, mind you, not my handwriting 😉

And there you have it.  Another eclipse card!  I'm happy to teach you and your friends how to make eclipse cards...simply send me a message.

Thank you for stopping by!  Happy Crafting!

Watercolour Christmas - Stampin` Up!

Wow, it`s been over a month since my last post, however, I`m back to everything card related! 😊

On Wednesday, I hosted a workshop with 10 wonderful ladies. To date, that was my biggest class.  Some experienced card makers, others brand new to stamping, and everyone had a great time making 4 Christmas cards!

When working with a large group, and limited time, it was necessary to die cut more than I would with a small group.  Oh, and to be super organized!  While one group was stamping, the other group was embossing - still some wait time, but things flowed pretty well.

This is a great card for beginners. The base is Real Red cardstock, with a layer of Whisper White, embossed using the Cable Knit Dynamic folder.

I`m a such a big fan of the Foil Snowflakes! Just enough glitz and glam without being overbearing.  The sentiment, from Watercolour Christmas, was stamped in Garden Green, then die cut with a Stitched Shapes Framelit.  Let me know if your lovin`this simple colour combo.

I used a Layering Oval Framelit to die cut the Garden Green backing for the sentiment, and glued the pieces together, and popped them up with dimensionals.

How cute is the Stitched Felt Embellishment!!!  I added a wee silver bow for a bit more bling!
Check out the Stitched Felt Embellishments in the Holiday Catalogue - there are 3 designs - the tree, a star, and holly berries with leaves (5 of each).

We finished off the card with a sentiment from Christmas Pines.

It had been a while since my last class and I learned something on Wednesday.  I really really really enjoy hosting workshops and classes.  How better to share what I love doing!

Thank you for stopping by!  Happy Crafting!

Carols of Christmas - Blog Hop

Happy Happy Friday and welcome to Tri-City Stampers Blog Hop. We have another team member joining our hop, so be sure to hop hop hop!

Today's card features Carols of Christmas Bundle! It's an early release that you can get your hands on now, yes now, before the Holiday Catalogue goes live!  And, you can use your Bonus Day Coupons - redeem them before the end of August!

I went non-traditional with my card, opting for a Basic Black base, and Wood Textures DSP for the layer. die cut with the new 'Card Front Builder' frame in the bundle.  There are two large greetings in the Carols of Christmas set - Deck the Halls, and Peace on Earth. I chose the latter because there is nothing I'd rather see than peace, on earth.  My guess is you feel the same. I stamped the greeting in Basic Black then die cut it using one of my Stitched Shapes Framelits.
The tree dies are spectacular! I cut two sets of trees using Wood Textures DSP,  the third in Gold Glimmer Paper and glued all three offset layers together.  The sweet little deer (also in the bundle) is die cut in the same DSP as the layer.  The greeting and trees are all popped up using dimensionals.

Here's another look at the trees.  What do you think?  Are you loving this bundle? Think of all the possibilities!! Definitely more than just for Christmas!

This sentiment from the Christmas Pines stamp set.  Check it out - three different and fun fonts!
I just had to add one more deer to complete this card! Fun!
