Stampin' Up! New In Colours & Positive Inkers Global Design Team Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends and thank you for joining me today for another Positive Inkers blog hop! Our theme this month is the brand new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue!

Here's my card! Measurements are given in my video tutorial (below)

I die cut so many flowers and leaves using the new In Colours and it was a tough decision on which to use!

The 2021-2023 In Colours

These are so pretty!  Do you have a favourite?  I think they're all gorgeousI used 4 of the 5 new In Colours on my card and I'll be featuring Pale Papaya in a future post.

For the background, I did a watery wash of Soft Succulent ink onto Basic White paper with my Water Painter.  After the paper had completely dried, I embossed it using my Tasteful Textile 3D folder. Next, I used one of my Stitched Rectangle dies to cut this layer.

All the flowers & leaves were cut usng the Pierced Bloom Dies.  I love the whimsical detail of the stitching from the dies!

Decorate the inside and the people receiving your card will love it so much!

I love when Stampin' Up! uses two fonts for a stamp!  The greeting is from Best Year, and I've heat embossed using Stampin' White powder onto Basic Black cardstock.  A wee bit of fussy cutting followed - easy peasy!  The ribbons and jewels add the pretty finishing touches.

Lots of Love for the Tiny Keepsake Bundle

It's mid-month, and you know what that means - time for our blog hop!

What I love about the Tiny Keepsake Bundle is the versatility, and I think you will agree that's what we look for in our purchases.

Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Valentine's, Wedding Favour, Baby Showers and more!  I can see these little boxes as adorable advent treat boxes.

It's a bit hard to see the embossing in the pic below, but after I die cut the box,  I placed it in the Scripty folder and ran it through my die cutting machine.

Have you used the Golden Glitz Delicata ink?  It's a must-have.  With it's shimmer, it adds a touch of glam!  I randomly stamped the snowflake onto Whisper White cardstock with that gorgeous ink, then die cut it using the small square from the bundle.
I added a Jingle Bell, and Old Olive/Pretty Peacock Reversible Ribbon tied neatly and ta da..done!
Oh...I forgot to mention - you don't need to glue the box together - how easy peasy is that!!!

Here's an elegant Keepsake Box using Black Foil paper and Silver Metallic-Edge Ribbon.
Add a few sweets & you're done!
Wouldn't this make a lovely table favour at a wedding!!

I have even more lovely Keepsake Boxes to show you in my YouTube video!

Thank you for visiting my blog!  I appreciate your support and shopping at my store.

An Inspired Card

Beautiful sunny, breezy perfect day!  Is it true Canadians talk about the weather...a lot??  Probably, but how else would we know what to wear? LOL

Here's another card I made in minutes, and right about now, you're thinking I'm the laziest quiller/card maker around!  I do tend to make card bases long before I actually use them.  The 'wings' were ready too, but hadn't considered what I would make. I literally dropped them on the card, along with the sage coloured tight rolls.  Quite often, that's how inspiration happens for me...so perhaps not lazy...um...let's say...prepared for those inspired moments.

All for now!

Thanks for stopping by!  Happy Crafting.
