Masculine Card | He's the Man| Fun Fold | Reverse Panel Fold

Hello and welcome crafty friends! On the 15th of each month our team does a blog hop and our theme is Masculine Cards. My card today features products from the He's the Man Suite from Stampin' Up! If you struggle with masculine cards, this suite is for you, and with my fun fold technique, you'll find making this card is a breeze!

I was inspired to make this card after seeing a YouTube video by Meg Loven, a U.S. demonstrator. Naturally I changed up the card to make it my own.

Whether you struggle with masculine cards or not, this paper is so awesome that you'll need it in your collection. There are antique cars, camping gear, suits, ties and more!

A top view of my card. Notice how the mini inside card opens from left to right - that's the reverse part of the card. Pretty cool, eh!

I've used one of the pop out images from the DSP - no fussy cutting involved! Stampin' Up! thinks of everything!

I've loved Stampin' Up! stamps for many years, and in looking at this perfectly stamped image bring me such joy! It's all about the details! And what a great sentiment - useful for a variety of occasions.

Stampin' Up! Beautiful Autumn Fun Fold Cards

In our virtual team meeting we learned how to make a simple fun fold card that is a delight to make and even saves you a bit of cardstock! Read on.....

All measurements for the card are given in the video (below). You can play with the sizes to change it up just a bit. I used Whisper White for the base & layer, and the gorgeous Guilded Autumn Specialty DSP for the front panel, leaves & acorns. The sentiment was heat embossed in gold onto Mint Macaron cardstock, then fussy cut. In the video I had added a daisy, but changed to leaves.

How perfect are these leaves & acorn from the Guilded Autumn Specialty DSP!! The punches in the bundle cut out these super quick and easy!

After the video, I did move the punched pieces just a tad to allow the front panel to close easily.

Can I say I love this DSP! With just these 2 side panels using DSP - jeepers, you could make loads of cards!

Stampin' Up! Prized Peony Fun Fold Gift Card Holder

Hi my crafty friends! So glad you popped by today because I have a super pretty card for you, and it's not difficult to make...shhhh....that's our little secret!

I started with a base of Gray Granite, and once the 2 panels were scored, I folded them toward the centre of the card. Next I added a strip of Peony Garden DSP and Gray Granite that I embossed using one of the Greenery Embossing Folders. All of the measurements can be found on my video (below), so do be sure to check it out.

I lined of inside of the card with a piece of the Peony Garden DSP. The design on this paper is subtle and lends itself well to stamped images and a handwritten message. The sentiment, from Many Mates, was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. That little pocket with the notch is the gift card holder. Again I used Peony Garden DSP, and stamped one of the floral images in Petal Pink onto the paper.

With so many awesome sentiments, the Many Mates stamp set you can easily change up this card to be great for many other occasions!

The next step was to make a belly band & decorate it. The circle was cut using the largest Stitched Shapes die. I used the same pattern as the gift card holder, but this time stamped the largest floral image onto the DSP using Petal Pink, and then the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black. The band is Petal Pink cardstock and the ribbon I used is from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo
