Art Gallery Bundle Stampin' Up! Positive Inkers Global Design Team Blog Hop

Hello again my crafty friends and welcome to our monthly Positive Inkers Global Design Team Blog!  I'm super excited to see what everyone has created using the sketch below as our design theme!

Here's our December Sketch

Now, how about a Sneak Peek of goodies in the Fine Floral Art Suite from the upcoming Jan-June Mini Catalogue!  (read below how you can get these products now)

Bright and colourful - perfect to uplift our spirits as winter approaches.  My card base is Poppy Parade, followed by a layer of Vellum, and then one of the lovely designs from the Fine Floral Art DSP (designer series paper).

These designs were hand-painted art that was then photographed and made into this stunning paper!  Other words I thought to use to describe this paper: gorgeous, lovely, elegant, delightful....you get the idea!

The 2-step stamping in the Art Gallery Bundle is so easy to do!  The stamps are 'artsy' which allows you to be off by a bit and still get amazing results!  If you weren't a fan of 2-step stamping, I assure you, this set is a pleasure to work with and it belongs in your craft room!

For the large flower I used Balmy Blue and Night of Navy, and for the smaller, Poppy Parade and So Saffron, and one 'bunch' of flowers in So Saffron.

The dies in the Art Gallery Bundle made quick work of the cutting!  Next it was just a matter of arranging the bouquet and popping some of the flowers up on Dimensionals.

I used one of the sentiments from Heal Your Heart, which is a stamp set you can get free with a $60 order when Sale-a-bration begins on Jan 5, 2021.  I heat embossed using White Stampin' Emboss Powder onto Night of Navy cardstock, then did a quick fussy cut.  Next, I made a couple of loops with the gold trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack, adhering the trim using a glue dot to the back of the sentiment, and untwisted the ends for a frayed look.  I then popped up the sentiment using Dimensionals.

Art Gallery Bundle Stampin' Up! Kylie's International Highlights Winners Blog Hop

Hello my crafty friends!  Are you ready for a sneak peek from the upcoming Jan-June Mini Catalogue?  Today I'm featuring products from the Fine Floral Art Suite, which is so amazing! I know you'll love it so much!  

Also today, I'm excited to be part of Kylie Bertucci's International Highlights Winners Blog Hop this month!  Thank you to everyone who voted on my card and thank you for your support. 

The theme for this hop is Thank You.  Here's my card!  All measurements are given in my video (below).

My first look at this entire suite was at OnStage@Home, and I couldn't wait to ink up the floral image.  It's a 2-step stamp and it's very forgiving, which means you don't have to line it up exactly - how awesome is that! 

Let's talk embossing!  The brand new Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder provides such fabulous texture, wouldn't you agree!  I had originally planned a full embossed layer, but cut part of the centre out in favour of the Golden Garden Designer Specialty Acetate (pssst...it's gold on one side, silver on the other)

I used Smoky Slate & Gray Granite for the flower, and Pear Pizzazz for the leaves. Then added Wink of Stella for a bit of sparkle.  No fussy cutting here - I used the Floral Gallery dies!

Don't forget to decorate the inside of your card!

I used vellum cut using one of the Stitched So Sweetly dies and placed it behind the flower, then wrapped Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon around the layer. I adhered the layer to a Gray Granite base.  Next, I heat embossed the sentiment (from the Art Gallery set) in silver.  And you guessed it - I cut it using another die from the Floral Gallery dies.  A few Basic Rhinestone Jewels and voila, the card is complete!
