New How-To Video Tutorial | Flowering Tulips

Happy Tuesday everyone! I'm delighted to be back after a relaxing Christmas and hope you had a wonderful holiday!

I have a new card & video tutorial featuring the Flowering Tulips bundle from Stampin' Up! So how do those tulip dies work? Further down in this post you'll find my tutorial.

Here's my card!

I've used a handful of amazing new products from the upcoming Mini Catalogue! Let's start with the tulips! Have you seen the absolutely stunning New Horizons DSP (designer series paper) in the Mini? I used the paper for a fabulous one-of-a-kind artsy, watercolour look for my tulips!

Here's a close-up of the tulips....and 2 new goodies! Under the tulips is a piece of Basic White paper embossed using the Splatters folder from Stripes & Splatters. And to the right of the tulips, I've used one of my Detailed Dahlias Dies to cut the Basic White paper. I cut the paper in half to use on another card.

VIDEO TUTORIAL

Before adding my sentiment, I flicked Wink of Stella onto the card for a lovely shimmer! I used Rich Razzleberry cardstock as my backing layer and sentiment. And there you have it - a card perfect for many many occasions! Leave me a comment with your thoughts on this card!

Sneak Peek Flowering Tulips Bundle from Stampin' Up! and Blog Hop!

Weeee! I love giving your sneak peeks and with the new Mini Catalogue coming out soon, this little peek might have you falling in love with the Flowering Tulips bundle! AND, it's our team blog hop! The theme is Thank You.....which you'll note I didn't use (oops!), but my card can very easily be made into a thank you card! Oooooh...and our upcoming Stamp Camp is open for registration! Details further below!

In my Video Tutorial below you'll find all the measurements, see a second card we made and of course, a sneak peek of the goodies in the bundle!

My mom loved polka dots and I know she would have loved this card! It's bright and happy!

I think this might be the first time I've used the Timeworn Type embossing folder, and you know I love embossing folders!! The texture it brings to my card is simply amazing!

Let's get to the Sneak Peek! I cut the tulips in Poppy Parade with my brand new Tulips dies. I love the dainty and delicate look! Back to the polka dot paper - it's from the Flowering Fields DSP and is just one of many gorgeous designs!

We are so excited about the new January to June Mini and Sale-A-Bration, but most of all we are so excited to be spending an afternoon escaping winter, stamping with you and dreaming of spring!

Laurel, Jen and I have planned an afternoon of crafting in our latest Stamp Camp featuring the Flowering Tulips Bundle and the coordinating Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper. We will stamp together from 1 pm to 5 pm EST on February 19, 2022.
