Hi and welcome back to our Positive Inkers monthly blog hop! I'm excited to announce our global design team now has 2 new members- Jo Blackman & Anne Marie Hile!
This month we designed cards based on this sketch:
Here's my card! I used elements from the Quite Curvy Variety Bundle (available Nov 3rd).
I may be obsessed with the Classic Christmas DSP (pssst...not just for Christmas), and the ivy from the Quite Curvy stamp set. To colour the ivy, I first stamped in Memento ink, then used my Purple Posy, Highland Heather and Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends.
Basic Rhinestones, Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon, and greenery die cut in Basic Black & Silver Foil blend in wonderfully with the ivy.
I love the sentiment from the Very Versailles set! The font is so elegant! I heat embossed using White Stampin' Emboss Powder, and fussy cut around the sentiment.
Have you embossed your DSP? It's one of my fave things to do to add texture and interest to a card! I used the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Please let me a comment! If you wish to make a purchase, links are available at the bottom of this post.

Day 12 of live videos, and I'm so very inspired by your kind comments! Today, I used the Very Versailles & Colourful Seasons stamp sets. Plus, on the second card some brand new products!!
I began by stamping the script image from Very Versailles in Merry Merlot onto Whisper White, then inked up the leaves/branches in Mossy Meadow. For the sentiment, from Colourful Seasons, I used Merry Merlot, then cut it with one of the Ornate Layers dies. I wrapped linen thread around the sentiment 3 times, adhering it with Glue Dots, then made a double linen thread bow which is also adhered with Glue Dots.
I stamped the script image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Whisper White which I had already cut using one of the Stitched Rectangle dies. The daisy is from the brand new Ornate Style stamp set. It was heat embossed onto vellum, and coloured using Stampin' Blends: Dark Lovely Lipstick, and Light Daffodil Delight & Old Olive. I cut the vellum using one of the Stitched Rectangle dies. The sentiment, from Very Versailles, is stamped in Tuxedo Black onto Melon Mambo cardstock & cut using one of the Stitched Nested Labels dies. Do you love the embossed layer??!! It's the NEW Ornate Floral 3D folder! It's definitely a must-have for your craft room!! Before adhering this layer to the base, I wrapped the Old Olive ribbon from the Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo! You'll want this ribbon combo also! Check out my Ornate Garden Suite & Mega Tutorial Bundle post HERE to find out how you can get 90 Tutorials....FREE from me! A viewer of my videos requested I do the inside of my cards so she could get some ideas, and I did do the inside of both cards today, which you can view on my video below.
