Hey friends, I've created a pretty card for you using the Beautiful Friendship stamp set from Stampin' Up! It's retiring soon, along with a few of the other products in this card.
A reminder that measurements are given during the video (below). The colours used in the video differ a bit from what I used on this card. That's because some of the retiring inks are already sold out. But we're cardmakers, right! We simply use our other Stampin' Up! inks!
In addition to the stamp set retiring, the Scripty 3D embossing folder and Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack are also retiring.
I kept the inside of the card fairly simple, leaving lots of room to write a heartfelt message..

If there's a silver lining during these troubling times, for me, it's being able to inspire you! And I'm inspired by you!
For my cards today, I used the Beautiful Friendship & So Sentimental stamp sets!
I had seen a similar card on Pinterest and knew I had to make it and put my own twist on it. The colours I chose: Poppy Parade, Mango Melody, Blueberry Bushel and Pear Pizzazz. Aren't they a pretty combo!!
My card base is Poppy Parade and with a layer of Night of Navy (oops...it should have been Blueberry Bushel...but it still works!) Before adhering the layers, I added Linen Thread for a bit of texture. Lastly, I inked up the sentiment (from So Sentimental) and stamped onto the already die cut (using Layering Circles) piece of Whisper White.
Here's the second card we made during the video:
I also found a similar card to this on Pinterest, and you guessed it...I made it! This time, the colours are a bit more dramatic: Rich Razzleberry, Mint Macaron, Pretty Peacock & Blackberry Bliss. I wouldn't have thought up this combination without a bit of trial and error.,,,aka trying different colours. These aren't from the same colour family, and I'm 100% okay with it! What do you think?

You know I love a stamp set when I post twice in one week!
Beautiful Friendship offers so many stamping possibilities, which is what I found when prepping sample cards for my Facebook Live video! The original plan was to feature simple stamping, however the more I played with the set, a thought popped into my head - make cards from Basic to Bling for all levels of stampers! I even made a brand new hashtag #basictobling!
My video starts with a pretty card stamped in Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo & Garden Green, The card almost didn't make it to my video, but I had to show you the lovely little roses!
Love soft subtles colours? Me too!
But...hold onto your hats, we're going bold!
If you're new to stamping, this card is perfect for you!
I used Thick Whisper White cardstock for the base, stamped the floral images & sentiment in Blueberry Bushel, and the leaves in Old Olive.
Quick, easy and pretty!
Let's step it up just a wee bit.
This time I used the regular weight of Whisper White cardstock & stamped everything the same as the first card. Using a piece of scrap Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the floral images again, fussy cut them (super easy), and popped them up on dimensionals. I adhered the layer onto a base of Blueberry Bushel.
Next up - bling.
Not super crazy bling...but, bling nonetheless!
I stamped the floral images & leaves, then fussy cut all of them. The bling is the Noble Peacock Foil Sheet in Old Olive & the Noble Peacock Rhinestones.
The foil sheet was first embossed using the Tufted folder, then die cut using one of the Stitched Nested Label dies. It's popped up using dimensionals.
The Foil Sheets are sooooo shiny! In the video, I show you all 3 gorgeous colours!
Who doesn't love Rhinestones, and in Old Olive & Blueberry Bushel - wow! Don't they look lovely on the card!!
Why haven't I used Blueberry Bushel much??!! It's a beautiful, vibrant colour!
