Stampin' Up! Loyal Leaves

I'm so happy you popped by my blog!  Today I have three fabulous card to share with you that were all made using the Loyal Leaves stamp set!

First up is this simple, pretty card!  I heat embossed using White Stampin' Emboss Powder onto Basic Black cardstock.  The layer is from the In Colour 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper, as is the sentiment piece, and used Tuxedo Black Memento Ink for the Thank You.  I used Whisper White cardstock for the base to keep the main focus on the embossed leaves.

Tip:  if you don't yet heat emboss, stamp the leaves using our Whisper White Pigment Ink

Like the first card, the leaves are heat embossed.  This time though, I added colour using Sponge Daubers & various inks: Poppy Parade, Just Jade and Crushed Curry.  For added interest, I cut the leaf layer on an angle and layered it onto Whisper White, that had been embossed using the Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder.  I am lovin' the look of sentiments stamped onto DSP - and for ths card I used the Neutrals 6 x 6 DSP.  The cardbase in Basic Gray compliments this card beautifully!

Tip:  once you've added colour to the leaves, use a rag to take off the excess ink

If I had to pick a favourite today...this card is it!  The richness of the colours against the black and gold - wow!  In my video (below) I show you how to make each card, and you'll see how each card came together.  It's so much fun playing with colours - and easy - I promise!

Basic to Bling!

You know I love a stamp set when I post twice in one week!

Beautiful Friendship offers so many stamping possibilities, which is what I found when prepping sample cards for my Facebook Live video!  The original plan was to feature simple stamping, however the more I played with the set, a thought popped into my head - make cards from Basic to Bling for all levels of stampers!  I even made a brand new hashtag #basictobling!

My video starts with a pretty card stamped in Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo & Garden Green,  The card almost didn't make it to my video, but I had to show you the lovely little roses!

Love soft subtles colours?  Me too!

But...hold onto your hats, we're going bold!

If you're new to stamping, this card is perfect for you!
I used Thick Whisper White cardstock for the base, stamped the floral images & sentiment in Blueberry Bushel, and the leaves in Old Olive.
Quick, easy and pretty!

Let's step it up just a wee bit.

This time I used the regular weight of Whisper White cardstock & stamped everything the same as the first card.  Using a piece of scrap Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the floral images again, fussy cut them (super easy), and popped them up on dimensionals.  I adhered the layer onto a base of Blueberry Bushel.

Next up - bling.

Not super crazy bling...but, bling nonetheless!
I stamped the floral images & leaves, then fussy cut all of them.  The bling is the Noble Peacock Foil Sheet in Old Olive & the Noble Peacock Rhinestones.
The foil sheet was first embossed using the Tufted folder, then die cut using one of the Stitched Nested Label dies.  It's popped up using dimensionals.
The Foil Sheets are sooooo shiny!  In the video, I show you all 3 gorgeous colours!
Who doesn't love Rhinestones, and in Old Olive & Blueberry Bushel - wow!  Don't they look lovely on the card!!

Why haven't I used Blueberry Bushel much??!!  It's a beautiful, vibrant colour!
