Party Pandas Hello Baby

What a weekend!  Although we had a bit of freezing rain courtesy of Mother Nature, and our 'It's All About You' event was postponed due to this inclement weather, we're happy to announce will be rescheduling soon!  I'll keep you posted. 😄

My card today features three Sale-A-Bration products. Wasn't the plan, but everything just came together and what you see is the result.

I started with a Whisper White Note Card base, then cut & adhered two pieces of Bubbles & Fizz DSP to the base.   Next, I stamped the panda, from the Party Pandas set, in Black Memento ink onto Whisper White paper.  Then, die cut the image using an ovals in the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  I added a layer of Dazzling Diamond Glimmer Paper that I die cut with a Layering Ovals Die.

To adhere the Shimmer ribbon I ran my snail adhesive in two lines, then zig-zag'd the ribbon.
Next I popped up the panda with dimensionals.  For the sentiment, I brought out my Teeny Tiny Wishes set and stamped the sentiment 'hello baby' in Black Memento ink.

The finishing touch was to die cut hearts from Support Ribbon Framelits dies - two using the Bubbles & Fizz DSP and one using Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.  Cute, eh?

Did you figure out which items are from Sale-A-Bration?

Here they are: Party Pandas, Bubbles & Fizz DSP, Shimmer Ribbon.

Gift Card Pizza Box Style!

Gift cards.  You put them in an card, a gift card tin, but what about a pizza box?? Whaaaattt???  Oh yes indeed.  Stampin' Up! has the cutest little pizza boxes ever, and with our team challenged to make a gift card holder, well....say no more...

But I will..teehee!  It's so darn tootin' cute, and easy to decorate dare I say we should all be making pizza box gift card holders!!  Ding ding...workshop idea!

Here's what I submitted for our team challenge.

The pizza boxes are 3 1/2" x 3 1/2", so I simply cut a 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" piece of Foil Frenzy Specialty DSP, then wrapped Burlap Ribbon around the box, and made a big bow.
For some bling bling,, I used Gold Foil paper and die cut it with Pretty Pines Thinlits. The detail on the pine cones - WOW!
I added a little splash of colour using red Mini Tinsel Trim.
My go-to for small sentiments is Teeny Tiny Wishes - love 'em!  And, the perfect size for the Classic Label Punch!

A wee closer look.

Oh...and guess what!!  The pizza boxes are food safe! Bake cookies with the kids and use the pizza box - super cute gift for the teacher!

I hope you enjoyed this post.  Be sure to comment and let me know what you think.

Happy Crafting!

Christmas in July Blog Hop

It's been pretty hot outside these days, and you may not be thinking of Christmas quite yet, but you will be once you take a look at the cards we have for you in this Blog Hop!

At our last Tri-City team meeting we did a swap of Christmas cards.  Such gorgeous cards!

I almost forgot how much I love Cherry Cobbler cardstock, and when it's with Whisper White cardstock and glimmer paper die cut snowflakes - it's simply stunning!
To get that curve in the Whisper White layer, I used my Swirly Scribbles Thinlits and then glued the die cut piece for the 'snow'.

Merry Christmas is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.  Stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink, punched using my Classic Label punch and popped up with dimensionals.  Using my Seasonal Layers Thinllits, I die cut the snowflakes.  They are so pretty done with Silver Glimmer Paper!

I just love the fonts & sentiments in the Christmas Pines set.  Once again, I used Cherry Cobbler ink, and my Pretty Label punch for a lovely shape around the sentiment.  Popped up again with dimensionals.
