In Colour Challenge | Positive Inkers Design Team | Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends! You are in for a colour treat today because our Positive Inkers Design Team have been busy creating cards based on our August Challenge - use 2023-2025 In Colours from Stampin' Up!

I'll post my Tues@7pm ET video once it's complete and downloaded.  Catch the actual live on my Facebook page HERE

For my card, I chose the gorgeous combination of Moody Mauve & Pebbled Path!

I started my card layer by using a Blending Brush, one of the Foursquare Decorative Masks and Moody Mauve ink to create a subtle background. I love the creative possibilities with the masks - I feel artsy!

I'll post my Tues@7pm ET video once it's complete and downloaded.  Catch the actual live on my Facebook page HERE

Irresistible Blooms | Birthday | Positive Inkers Design Team Blog Hop

Welcome crafty friends!  It's the first of the month and time for our Positive Inkers Design team to share cards we created using our Sketch Challenge!

At the bottom of this post is my video tutorial with all the card details.

Stampin' Up! Bundle: Irresistible Blooms

Paper: Basic White, Sweet Sorbet, Ready to Ride, Sun Prints

I had so much fun making this card!  I love playing with colours and textures.  Embossing folders are the easiest way to add texture, and for this card I used one of the brand new 3D embossing folders for the layer and the solid leaves.

I changed up the card a wee bit in my video (bottom of page)

I love the freedom to think outside the box with sketch challenges.  They aren't just squares and circles to me.

Look closely at the flowers - I heat embossed onto one of the prints from Sun Prints.  It's a very subtle enhancement.

With the extra pieces, I love to decorate the inside of my cards.  A lovely surprise for the recipient!

Three Super Cute Super Easy Cards | Celebrate with Tags Bundle

Happy Tuesday!  Today I have 3 more projects to share with you that all use the amazing Celebrate with Tags Bundle from Stampin' Up!

My Video Tutorial with all the measurements is further down in this post, and be sure to stay to the end of the video to see an uber cute project!

Aren't these mittens cute!!  Simply stamp & cut them with the mitten die.  I used a fun & bright colour combo of Night of Navy, Shaded Spruce and Sweet Sorbet inks.  And, for a bit of whimsical texutre, I embossed the Basic White paper with one of the Wintry 3D folders.

Next up, from the same bundle is a birthday card, so quick and easy to make!  I kept this card simple to make to easy to make multiples.  One of my fave things to do is use inks & blending brushes to create mixes of colour, which is what I did for the paper I cut the candles from.

I love the simplicity of this card!  And I love using Blending Brushes, this time using Sweet Sorbet ink.  Check out the variation of colours - all from one ink!

Celebrate with Tags | Three Projects | Christmas Blog Hop

Thanks for dropping by my blog today!  It's the 15th of the month, and that means it's time once again for our Stamping Symphony blog hop!  I love our theme - Christmas 💕

I have a treat for you - 3 fun projects and my Video Tutorial including measurements, which is further down in this post. Everything I've used is available from my Online Store.

This is one of my fave cards ever!  Subtle, pretty and Christmas! I've used the Celebrate with Tags Bundle from Stampin' Up! so for each project!  And, each project uses patterned paper called Awash in Beauty, which, by the way, isn't Christmas paper, but look how wonderful it looks!

The Celebrate with Tags Bundle comes with 2 different tag dies, and the above uses one of them.  You could easily slip a gift card in this tags - how fun is that!  You could also use this tag on the front of a card - great versatility!

Are these adorable or what!!  The scalloped edging from the die makes this tag extra special!  Love it!  This time I cut the Awash in Beauty paper with the mitten die, and used my Blending Brush to add a bit of colour to the edges of the mitts to give a bit of definition.  I'm a huge fan anything sparkly thus I used Glittered Organdy ribbon and simply tied it through the slot in the tag.

VIDEO TUTORIAL

Watch my YouTube video to see how each of these projects were made.

They're quick and easy and will get lots of oooohs and aaaahs from the recipient!

On each of these fun projects I used White Glimmer paper for just the right amount of gorgeous sparkle!  I love when I get loads of use from a bundle, and the Celebrate with Tags bundle with take you through the seasons!

Cozy & Bright Cards & Alternative Ideas

Welcome and thank you for dropping by my blog!   Today I'm featuring the amazing Cozy & Bright all-inclusive kit from Stampin' Up!  Kits are great for new stampers, experienced stampers, when you don't have a lot of time and/or space.

In my video further down in this post I show how to make a card per the instructions, then how you can make fun alternatives and even get 24 cards out of the kit!

Such a gorgeous card, and so easy to assemble!  I love the Evening Evergreen base, sprigs, pinecones and gold details on the card base.  Add in the oranges, cinnamon stick and greeting and your card is done!

I love the look of this card!  I used my paper trimmer to cut a panel from the front of the original card base.  Then I added a couple of gold foil sprigs, stamp the greeting on Basic White, cut with one of the Stylish Shapes dies, and placed on a gold foil scalloped circle die.
I embellished the card with Champagne Rhinestones & gold Simply Elegant twine!

This is the other half of the card base!  I used my Stitched Greenery die (which is my all-time favourite die!) and adhered it to a Basic White base.  I added 3 leaves and a couple of sprigs cut using the Holly Berry dies.

Black & White Gingham ribbon and Red Rhinestone complete the card!
